Precision Experience in High-Stakes Accounting
Elizabeth Maxson is a forensic accounting professional with over a decade of experience handling complex financial and legal matters. As the founder of TRAK Forensics, she leads financial investigations, IRS representation, litigation support, and operational recovery for law firms, executives, and organizations in Alaska and across the United States.
Elizabeth holds the Enrolled Agent credential from the IRS and the Certified Tax Resolution Specialist designation. She brings significant experience in audits, fraud cases, tax remediation, and internal financial reconstruction for high-liability situations.
She began her career in accounting, focusing on tax strategy, reporting, and internal systems. Early exposure to broken financial records and fraud inquiries shifted her focus toward forensic work, where she began building financial narratives from incomplete or damaged records.
Legal Familiarity That Adds Depth
Elizabeth Maxson brings a rare dual foundation in law and forensic accounting. After years as a paralegal supporting estate, divorce, and both criminal defense and prosecution teams, she developed the ability to translate complex financial issues into clear, courtroom‑ready language attorneys can use without revision.
Today, she is one of Alaska’s few professionals qualified to support litigation, IRS remediation, and financial investigations at a standard that satisfies both legal and accounting scrutiny. In major fraud and embezzlement matters, Elizabeth has lead investigative strategy—directed legal teams, reconstructed financial activity, and identified the mechanisms of misconduct with precision.
Her clarity and command of the evidence make her a trusted expert witness, known for testimony that is direct, methodical, and decisive.

Commitment to Growth and Credentialed Practice
Her continuous training through ASTPS, NATP, the ABA, and her Enrolled Agent credential ensures she brings current, authoritative insight to matters involving tax law, litigation risk, and regulatory exposure.
Trusted Support in Critical Financial Moments
Elizabeth leads TRAK Forensics during some of the most disruptive moments clients face. Whether resolving tax problems that block a business sale, tracing disputed assets in a divorce, or stabilizing accounting failures inside a tribal or medical organization, she brings control and a clear path forward.
Clients in Anchorage and statewide rely on her steady, disciplined approach when finances intersect with risk, failure, or litigation.
