Trak Forensics was created for organizations facing the kinds of financial and operational challenges that demand clarity, steadiness, and absolute trust. We specialize in high‑stakes financial leadership, IRS representation, forensic accounting, and operational recovery for Alaska businesses, tribal organizations, nonprofits, medical practices, construction firms, and law firms. Our work begins where uncertainty takes over,  when financial systems break down, when compliance failures surface, when fraud is suspected, or when litigation requires clear, defensible financial analysis.

Our approach is grounded in calm, discreet, methodical problem‑solving. We don’t overwhelm clients with jargon or noise; we bring order, structure, and a forensic mindset that ensures every conclusion is supported by evidence. Whether we’re rebuilding financial controls, resolving IRS issues, or supporting attorneys in complex disputes, Trak Forensics delivers the clarity and leadership organizations need to move forward with confidence.

Based in Alaska and serving clients across the U.S., we provide the stability, expertise, and discretion required when the stakes are high and the path forward must be absolutely reliable.

Elizabeth Maxson
Trak Forensics founder Elizabeth — expert in IRS representation and financial investigations

Elizabeth is a financial strategist and forensic accounting professional with a decade of experience guiding organizations, attorneys, and high‑net‑worth individuals through complex financial and legal challenges. She is an Enrolled Agent with the IRS, a Certified Tax Resolution Specialist, and the founder of Taxpayer Representatives of Alaska, where she leads high‑stakes IRS representation, forensic investigations, operational recovery, and litigation support.

Elizabeth began her career in accounting, developing a strong foundation in financial analysis, tax strategy, and operational controls. Her expertise quickly expanded into forensic work, where she became known for her ability to dissect intricate financial records and produce clear, defensible findings in contentious matters.

Her accounting background naturally led her into the legal field, where she worked as a paralegal supporting family and criminal attorneys. She drafted pleadings, estate and trust documents, and complex financial disclosures, and she reviewed extensive civil and criminal discovery. Her ability to translate financial data into precise legal narratives made her a valued partner to attorneys and a trusted expert witness in high‑stakes disputes.

Elizabeth holds a bachelor’s degree from Western Governors University and is completing her master’s degree and CPA credentialing. She also plans to pursue her JD at Syracuse University College of Law to further expand her legal and financial capabilities.

With a background spanning IRS representation, forensic accounting, litigation support, crisis management, and financial leadership, Elizabeth brings a rare combination of technical depth, strategic insight, and calm authority. She partners with clients who require discretion, clarity, and a trusted advisor capable of navigating their most sensitive financial matters.
